Oregon Coast

We were eating a snack in a fast food place and this car was in the parking lot. It is full of junk, old cups, papers, trash, clothes - the driver hardly has room to get into the seat. How would you like to visit his home?

As we left the A&W where I enjoyed some good chili and a great Turtle Sundae, Lori spotted these birds moving a block away. They are standing on each other in the feeder and some were constantly coming and flying around. When they were startled about two dozen flew up from the lawn, out of sight from this view. They landed on a nearby telephone line and it looked like the Pixar movie. They were near the pole and the line was sagging down near the pole.
Rough coast typical of much of the coast, although much of the central Oregon coast also has sandy beaches. We saw some sea otters in the water.

Lighthouse near Newport on the coast. Beautiful weather.

  1. Looks like a fun trip! I bet it was crazy for mom to visit places she went to as a little girl. I'm sure things look different as an adult. Love you guys! Allie
