Caribbean slope in Costa Rica

Butterfly where we ate lunch.
Dole workers trimming and packing bananas for the U.S. Very clean operation, amazing amounts of fruit. They said the wages are down about half from their high point
Rhinoceros beetle, Jeff you probably remember seeing these
Intrepid traveler on the boat going to Tortuguero. Took about 2 hours to get here. The ocean is about 250 yards to the right over the sand dune based jungle as you travel down the natural waterways to the village and destination. About 100% humidity so Lori is extra enjoying this one. Only a little rain, they get about 15 inches during April, so about average a half inch per day.
