Jensen & Lauren Wedding in Napa

These pictures were all taken with the Samsung Android smartphone. The lens is obviously not the quality of the Panasonic I usually use however it seems up to the task of this type of event and family gathering. Overall I was pleased with it.

The narrow, country roadway up to Grandpa Pat's in the foothills on the east side of Napa.

Menu [there was also different food and appetizers around the pool while the photographer was working prior to the ceremony]

Lisa and Lois with the groom. They are on the deck around to pool, from here the land slopes downward, westward towards Napa.

Lisa, Henning and their son - the groom

Monika [or Minister Mehrens] and her mother

Next?
Monika and Oliver.

It was very warm, although a breeze came up later and made it much more comfortable. Monika decides some water would be welcome.

So does Lisa.

The wedding ceremony. Lauren is getting ready to give Jensen a ring.

Monika did a good job as the officiator. She gave counsel about working through difficulties and helping each other with weaknesses. Jensen and Lauren have been together for about 11 years - and she made reference to this long delay-- 'Finally'

This picture is copied from a painting by Jensen.

Backyard reception - it was distinctly cooler here. Rob noticed that and suggested these good seats. A breeze came from the area behind Lois.

More tables in the side yard.

This wood fired brick oven was cooking medium sized pizzas very quickly. Tasty and they went well with the two salads and the Italian sodas - that me and the kids enjoyed.
