Lots of roses. The ceremony included showers of rose petals several times and the flower girls dropped them. The aisle and food area had these lovely bouquets. The ceremony could also be seen on the screens to the right and left of the pavillion.

Rajat, his family and bridal party entered down a long corridor. The advanced slowly with drums, loud music and dancing. He was riding this white horse with a gala covering. The Guptas and the groom's family had on similar headdresses. Very colorful and noisy beginning. It reminded one somewhat of the arrival of the bridegroom in the New Testament parables.

The Guptas wait for the first 'official' meeting of the two families. They are under an archway and a symbol of holiness. Ishan is carrying a tray of more roses. Abba has a silver tray with lighted candles. They exchanged greetings, the groom was given a ceremonial wreath, then food and he stood on a small platform of honor. Ishan and Atul's robes are beautiful fabric and design. Abba had a new outfit for each of the several celebrations this week.
