Happy Birthday - Lori

Lori is '39' today and has enjoyed a birthday week, with more activities tomorrow. She has many wonderful friends and family.
Thank you for the calls and emails.

President and Sister Pendleton gave this china plate to her for her birthday [which is also their anniversary]. This is the front and below is the message they wrote on the back.

This is a hand made card.

We had the missionaries, Elder King and Elder Haines, to dinner that night, they are assistants to the President. The occasion was that we were able to find a night that we and the Cohen's could get together. Their son, Eric, is serving in Connecticut, in a spanish speaking assignment.
The missionaries  presented a message with the Spirit about the Plan of Salvation.
Mary is standing between them and Lori.

Birthday cake. The 'candle' that Lori is removing was actually an upside down matchstick [I could not find a real candle]. Charlotte Tolman made the cake, fortunately she called and said she was bringing one because I was planning to bring one home.
