Flowers March 26th at home

Lilacs, of course the smell is heavenly. They last a relatively long time.
These are Redbuds, they are a native small tree/large bush in California
Tulips, with fresia in the background. These are by the pool
One variety of Japanese crabapple, in front of the house. The blossoms are large for a Japanese crabapplePosted by Picasa

A flowering Japanese crabapple in front of the family room.
Flowering quince, they sucker so badly that I have removed most of them, but they flower almost all year long.
A rhododendron behind the workshop.
These are Craig's  Crimson Cherries -this variety is much too good for kids to eat.
